Lumbini Tech Month 2082 to Be Held in Lumbini Province, Offering Coding and Leadership Opportunities for Students

Kathmandu: A month-long program titled Lumbini Tech Month 2082 will be organized in Lumbini Province from Magh 1 to Falgun 2. The program is being organized by the CSIT Association of Butwal Multiple Campus and is targeted at students interested in information technology.
CSIT Association President Sanchit Pandey said the program will include three weeks of online workshops and one week of in-person sessions. He said the Tech Month will focus on a wide range of skills, from coding to personality and leadership development.
The online workshops will be conducted in three segments: Code Workshop, No-Code Workshop, and Personal Development Workshop. Pandey said the Code Workshop will provide specialized training in programming and digital technologies. During the No-Code Workshop, students will learn to solve problems using digital tools without requiring coding knowledge. The Personal Development Workshop will focus on career guidance and leadership development. A ‘Tech Treasure Hunt’ competition will also be organized as part of the program.
In the final week, a physical workshop will be held at Umai Garden Resort in Butwal. The in-person sessions will run for six days. The closing ceremony will feature a panel discussion involving experts, professors, and representatives from various IT companies.
Pandey said the online workshops will be free of cost and open to interested students from across the country. Participation in the physical workshop will be limited to students who can attend in person in Butwal. A registration fee of Rs 300 has been set for the physical sessions. After the completion of Tech Month, the best 100 participants will be awarded scholarships for a month-long data fellowship program. The organizers said the fellowship will be conducted in collaboration with Datacamp.
