Bugv Launches One-Year Student Ambassador Program to Promote Cybersecurity Awareness in Nepal

Kathmandu. Nepali cybersecurity company Bugv has launched a one-year Student Ambassador Program for college and university students across Nepal, to promote cybersecurity awareness while helping students develop leadership and practical skills.

According to the company, the program goes beyond brand promotion and is designed to provide participants with opportunities for learning, leadership development, and hands-on exposure to cybersecurity. "Through this one-year program, we will engage students from colleges across Nepal. Our goal is to bring together college students and technology professionals on a common platform," the company said.

Participants selected as student ambassadors will receive practical exposure to cybersecurity through training sessions, seminars, and networking opportunities with industry professionals.

As part of the program, ambassadors will also conduct cybersecurity awareness activities in their respective colleges and communities, educating others on safe internet practices and organizing awareness campaigns.

The company said participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from cybersecurity experts and receive mentorship throughout the program. Upon successful completion, ambassadors will receive certificates, and outstanding participants will receive additional recognition and encouragement.

The program is open to students enrolled at any college or university in Nepal. According to Bugv, applicants do not need prior cybersecurity expertise; only an interest in technology and a willingness to learn are required.

Applications for the program's first batch are now open. Interested students can apply by clicking here until August 12.
