Harka Sampang’s Official Facebook Page Restored After Six-Day Suspension

Kathmandu. The official Facebook page of House of Representatives member and Chairman of the Shram Sanskriti Party, Harka Raj Rai (Harka Sampang), titled ‘Harka Sampang A Revolution,’ has resumed operation after being inaccessible since last Thursday. The page, operated under Meta, was restored on Wednesday following a six-day suspension.

With more than 1.4 million followers, the page reappeared on Facebook on Wednesday, although no new posts had been shared at the time this content was prepared.

The page was taken down shortly after Sampang posted, upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, “Safely landed at Yalambar International Airport.” following the post, the account reportedly received multiple user reports, after which it was suspended for violating Facebook’s community guidelines.

During the suspension of his page, Sampang continued engaging with supporters through his personal Facebook profile. In the meantime, several fake accounts using his name and photo surfaced online, prompting his secretariat to caution the public against misleading pages.
