NAS-IT Announces Nepal Tech Roadshow Across The United States in May

Kathmandu. With the aim of promoting Nepal’s software and information technology sector on an international level, the ‘Nepal Tech Roadshow 2026’ is set to be held in multiple cities across the United States in May 2026. The initiative has been announced by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT).

NAS-IT stated that the roadshow is being organized to connect Nepal’s technology industry with the U.S. market, investors, and the non-resident Nepali community. The primary objective is to position Nepal as a reliable and competitive destination for software development, artificial intelligence, data services, and digital transformation.

The main event will take place on May 15, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Grapevine, Texas, USA. Prior to that, ‘Nepal Tech Connect’ will be held on May 8 in San Francisco, focusing on networking with entrepreneurs, investors, and technology experts from the Bay Area.

NAS-IT Founder President and Executive Board Member Richan Shrestha said the global recognition of Nepal’s tech sector is growing. “We have the talent and experience to become long-term partners for global business,” Shrestha said, adding that the roadshow will help showcase Nepal’s capabilities on the international stage. 

The initiative is being supported by the Nepalese American Chamber of Commerce, local partners, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal. Dexperts Inc is the title sponsor, while Focus Health and Fusemachines are supporting partners.

The event will feature participation from several leading Nepali IT companies, including Bajra Technologies, Biz Serve IT, CityTech Group, Code Pixelz Media, Jaspter IT, Leapfrog Technology Nepal, Quickfox Technologies, Rara Labs, Techkraft Inc, among others.

The program will include company showcases, B2B meetings with U.S. startups and investors, and presentations on Nepal’s global delivery capabilities.

Experts, including Richan Shrestha (QuickFox), Himal Karmacharya (Leapfrog), Abhaya Poudel (BizServe), Shankar Upreti (Hamro Patro), and Kailash Bijayananda (AmCham Nepal), will present on Nepal’s ease of doing business and the prospects for USA–Nepal tech cooperation.
