Please Be Sensitive: We Stand with Gen-Z

The government's repression of the spontaneous Gen-Z movement, which stands against injustice and corruption, is deeply condemnable. The indiscriminate shooting of students peacefully protesting with placards urging the government and party leaders to reform exposes the government’s barbaric and violent nature.

This is not only the voice of Gen-Z, but also of every citizen neglected in public services. It is the natural voice of every taxpayer who questions the lavish lifestyles of leaders and their children without legitimate income sources. The government’s attempt to silence Gen-Z, which has been expressing its views through social media, is a blatant act of suppression.

The government and its allies must take full responsibility for this barbaric attack on protesters carrying the agenda of national development and reform. We strongly condemn the government’s crackdown on demonstrators who were peacefully exercising their rights with prior notice.

We pay heartfelt tribute to all who lost their lives in the movement for a better nation and extend our best wishes for the swift recovery of the injured.
