Kathmandu: The pre-enrollment service for voter roll registration will be available from 11:59 p.m. tonight through the Nagarik app. This new digital feature aims to make the voter registration process easier and more accessible for citizens.
According to the Nagarik app team, users can now select their preferred district election office and fill out the pre-enrollment form directly through the app.
Those who have already registered on the voter roll do not need to register again. To access the new feature, users must update the Nagarik app to version 2.0.84.
The Election Commission is continuing to collect voter rolls for the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, 2026. Along with the app, the Commission has also launched the pre-enrollment service on its official website.
After completing the online form, applicants will need to visit their respective election office at the scheduled date and time to submit biometrics and have their photograph taken.
